Spotlight Saturday for 2/8/2014: Piggy Polish glitter

It's the weekend!!!  For my Spotlight Saturday, I'm going to keep the post pretty quick again.

I jazzed up my pale Friday polish, and I have to say that I like this soooo much better now.  I was not really happy with that base color on it's own, but this?  DEFINITE YES!

I would love to tell you the name of the polish I used, but there is no tag on the bottle, and after searching for a bit on the internet, I did not find a photo of this particular glitter combo.  It's a shame, because it really is a nice polish...

Color Used:

This glitter topper reminds me of the southwest...gold, teal, silver and reddish-orange colors.  AND they are shreds!  I love shreds!  The neutral base color just let this glitter show through.  I only did 2 coats of this, because I didn't want it to be overwhelming, but the first coat did come out a little sparse.

Now, I wish I knew the name of this one!

Have a good weekend everyone!
Liz

  1. I saw your photo on Facebook and came over to find the name of the polish lol I never buy these Piggy Polishes...they seem a little pricey to me. But this one is really pretty! Great way to liven up a neutral base!

    1. This is the one and only Piggy Polish I have. It was in the clearance section at Ulta last year, and it was less than $3 if I remember correctly. There was more than one...wish I had checked to see if there was a name on any of them!

  2. I believe it's called The Earth Says Hello. Which just makes me want to watch Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
