Polish Addict Neon Moon and GIVEAWAY!! reminder

I have a sneaking suspicion that this one may be the favorite color of the ones I've shown.  It is a deep blue jelly, with a generous amount of micro glitter that flashes oh so brightly when this baby is top coated...I give you Polish Addict Neon Moon.

GOT Polish for 2/27/2014: Orange

It's Thursday again, time for the GOT Polish challenge.  It feels good to start getting back into some easy-going challenges, although fighting to get motivation sometimes is a little tough, since winter just does not want to leave the Chicago area.



This week is orange, and it's a tough one.  I don't have many orange polishes at all, and I have almost none that are over a year old.  So pickings for this week were very slim.  I'm toeing the line here with the color choice, but it's the only color I have that I was willing to wear out of the house right now.  It's a fiery orange...like a dark fire opal, or an orange-y tomato red.  And just FYI, my camera was NOT happy with this polish.  I did the best I could to get the color correct, so my skin tone may look a little weird.

NOTD for Tuesday 2/25/2014: Orly Androgynie

Going from bright and sunny yesterday to dark and sparkly today.  Like day to night...  This is an Orly polish that I really like, but I am a *little* disappointed with it.  All the gorgeous glitter you see in the bottle does not look the same on the nail.  That black jelly base swallows up a lot of it, but there is shine that still pokes through on your fingers.  I just wish there was more:

My first review! - Part 1, Orly Secret Society collection

Yes, you read the title correctly - this is Part 1 of a review post.  As my blog header states, these products were purchased by me, so nothing to disclose.  Damn legal issues....anyway, I don't plan on making a habit of this, so I may as well do this one right.

This came about because a friend and fellow blogger - Dionne @ Glittery Fingers and Sparkling Toes - had posted reviews of some polishes from the Orly Surreal collection.  She wasn't able to buy the Secret Society collection yet, but when I told her I had them, she threatened me with bodily harm  asked me nicely to swatch them.  So here is the collection:

I recently got a Mystery Bag from Daring Digits, and I am just in LOVE with every polish in the mix.  I was a little bit leery about doing one of these, mostly because you never know what you are going to get, but I was absolutely not disappointed.  With so many to choose from, it was tough, but this one just caught my eye and I had to wear it.
