Just a quick note here while I am doing homework. The last two weeks have been pretty demanding at school, and at work I am busy training my replacement. I've had naked nails for almost two weeks now, and I am ready to pull my hair out!!
I've got two quizzes, four programs, one homework assignment, a final that is a group project, and two actual finals to finish up by Wednesday midnight. Whew! I'm tired just writing it! I should be back to myself by the end of the week. <<looking longingly at my nail polish stash>>
I'll be back with the ABC Challenge for "Y", and then I will start working on putting together all the fantastic suggestions for our next challenge! YAY!!!

A Wedding Day big fat fail!
Hello all - a rare non-challenge post for me. I can't sleep, so I figured I may as well do SOMETHING.
One of my favorite indie brands, KraftyGurl, has this gorgeous polish called Wedding Day. Soft and pale pink, blue & green (or are they yellow?) glitters with some whites and holos thrown in the mix - LOVE IT. I had envisioned a pretty manicure with this beauty, but there was a disconnect somewhere between my mind and my fingers.

ABC Challenge - "V" is for Venus In The Sky
Hello all! We are here for the letter V, so here we go.
First, let me say that my original idea for the letter U and letter V both tied in together. But that was before I looked at the calendar, and realized that the letter U fell right after Memorial Day weekend. So my inspiration for V started with the letter U...who cares, right? Here's the finished look, and yes, I know my cuticles look awful. There is a lot of oil glare that wasn't there IRL, and they look bad in these photos. But you are only here to see the polish, right?
