Polish Addict Lime Light and GIVEAWAY!! info

Hello all!  So the toes are dipping back in to the pool, so to speak, but it is only going to be the kiddie pool for a while.  I didn't forget the time that goes into blogging on a regular basis, and that kind of time?  I ain't got.  So posting won't be regular like clockwork, but I'm not planning on disappearing for a couple months again either.

A fellow blogger and friend, Natalie from Over the Top Coat, is having her 2 year Birthdanniversary on her blog (blogiversary and birthday combo), and I decided to contribute this year.  It gives you guys a chance to win a great prize (yes, I am biased), and me a chance to get back into the swing of blogging again.  It just went live today, so you've got plenty of time to get in on it!  It runs from today, July 14 to July 29.  To enter and see the details, just head on over <<here>>.

Lots of pics, so let's get to it!

Here is the prize I am contributing to the fun:

PRIZE IS:  all 8 polishes shown, but in the 7ml mini size.
6 colors from the summer NEON collection, Holo topcoat,
and 80's Baby neon glitter topper.
I will be showing you guys what these polishes look like in blog posts over the duration of the giveaway.  So, shall we?

First up is Polish Addict Lime Light.  Let me say that this bottle shot is THE MOST COLOR ACCURATE of my photos.  I use my cell phone for these pics, and I am not huge on trying to alter the colors in editing.  A lot of the indoor pics are pretty close too, but this one is the best of the bunch for being true to actual.

The polish is a gorgeous sheer lime green jelly, with some serious sparkle to it.  I did 3 coats of this, and I have to tell you, the VNL is a problem for me.  I chose not to use undies so you could see the polish on its own, but I tend to use a white base on anything neon, just because that's me.

This is 3 coats of polish, without topcoat.  The polish dries to a satin type of finish. Not full-on matte, but nowhere near shiny, due to the pigment.  These 3 photos were taken outdoors, in shade.

This next photo was taken outdoors, in full sun.

And, these last 2 photos were taken indoors.

I added a topcoat to my pointer and ring fingers to show the difference.  I can see it in the photos...I hope you can too.  Both these photos were taken indoors.

Here is my whole hand with topcoat, taken in full sun. This photo is WAYYYY off the color - the sun pulled out the yellow tones on this, and I didn't realize just how much until I saw this side by side to the indoor photos.

So there you have it - polish #1 of 8.  Now I'm off to enjoy the rest of this GORGEOUS evening.  Here's my view off my bedroom balcony of the golf course that is basically my backyard.  I'll tip my beer to you all...till next time!
